Our Journey

From homesick students to a shared table of comfort. This is the story of WeNB — carrying the scent of home and the warmth of Burmese culture in every bowl.

  • It Began with Homesickness

A small craving for something familiar sparked the idea of steaming bananas with milk after class.

  • Shared Among Friends

One small idea grew brighter with every story we shared. What began as casual talks with friends soon became a recipe for comfort.

  • A Name Was Born

“We Need Banana” — playful and honest, capturing both our craving and our comfort.

  • Today

WeNB carries the scent of home to Burmese students in Bangkok and invites Thai and international friends to discover our culture.

A Note from the Founders

We're just a group of university students who found ourselves craving the taste of home while studying in Bangkok. What started as weekend cooking sessions in our small apartment kitchen has become something beautiful — a way to share our culture and create comfort for others who might be feeling homesick too.

WeNB isn't a big company or a fancy restaurant. We're students, just like you, who believe that food has the power to bring people together across cultures. Every banana we steam, every bowl we serve, carries a piece of our story and hopefully brings a moment of warmth to yours.
